I did it! Yay! I finished the 30 day “How to Meditate” series, and it felt great.
During the session Jeff Warren was like, Be proud, you meditated for 30 days! And I thought, nope, I’ve meditated like 125 days in a row, holy crap! I am proud!
This was a beautiful meditation, very empowering and relaxing at the same time. Steve said he felt like he fell asleep sitting up. Those are the best.
I loved this T.S. Eliot quote from the very beginning:
“We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.”
Is that great? Powerful sentiment. Meditation is an “exploration into who we really are,” according to Jeff, which I’m discovering to be so incredibly true, more and more as I go along. I feel like I’m uncovering the layers I’ve been putting on my entire life, one by one, and slowly seeing the real me more clearly than ever.
I’m so happy I did this series, and also very happy to be done with it. There are so many other mini courses I can’t wait to take! Now I get to explore even more within my exploring, like when you go to an exciting destination and find the fun little routes off the main path.
I feel like I have been given a strong base of knowledge now, and have a lot of tools to keep this up for the rest of my life. So grateful! So happy I started this, and I can’t wait to see where else it will take me.
