Yesterday would have been day seven of the gratitude series, but I saved my meditation for a little calming time right before bed instead.

The first night sleeping alone after Steve leaves is always a bit of a bummer. The meditation helped.

As I write this, I just reminded myself to take a deep breath. I don’t feel like I’ve taken one all day. Ever do that? I dropped my shoulders, too. Feels so good!

That’s all for this experience. It was lovely and I was grateful for a breathing exercise in an anxious moment. It felt refreshing and relaxing.

Sometimes, it’s just the simple things!
