Love getting back to an appreciation practice. Feeling so good! In the flow.
Today I “interviewed” (more a meet and get to know each other) for a little side gig I’m actually very excited about, and a butterfly came and hung out with us for like fifteen minutes. I’m not exaggerating. It was so magical. And the woman I was meeting with mentioned that a butterfly is her universe sign that she’s on the right track.
And I got chills, because it’s mine too!
I just feel like I’m doing exactly what I’m supposed to be doing right now. I’m listening, being mindful, following the signs. I feel present and happy. I’ve cleared so much crap and BS out of my mind and my life, so many “supposed tos” and ” I shoulds” and replaced them with “I want tos” and “this is what I need right nows” and it’s paying off in spades. Things are flowing, coming easily, working out. I’m so much lighter, less anxious, less worried about controlling any of it.
I’m feeling calm and grateful.
And, of course, appreciative.
Nice and simple today. A great start after a wonderful long weekend. Can’t wait to see what the days to come have in store!
