Meditation: Balance, Sound Scan Length: 7 minutes Where: Bedroom, Los Angeles How It Felt: Interesting
Currently sitting outside of the Banc of California stadium getting ready for the last night of the Nightmare Before Christmas concert. I’m super early because, honestly, I think I just wanted to get here and get it done with!
Sweet freedom is so close I can taste it.
I’m going to sleep in SO HARD tomorrow. I’m going to watch stupid tv and eat all my favorite snacks tonight. I’m going to think about NOTHING.
Tomorrow I have to get an audition on tape- for two separate roles in one project- and that is IT.
Tuesday I have nothing. Wednesday I have a Zoom interview and a Zoom HOA meeting. Easy.
I cannot wait.
Last night I tried a new meditation from the Balance app called Sound Scan. It was a body scan but with certain chime tones signaling different parts of the body. True to Balance form, it was customizable, and I chose the shorter one with a “relax” goal.
Did it work? I don’t know. I was already so tired. It was, I’m sure, good for my exhausted brain to focus on something simple and rest.
Ok. A little work. Then, an amazing concert event. Then, home, where my grocery delivery will hopefully be waiting.
Then, the promised land.
