How It Felt: Complete!
I did it! I finished another course. Yay!
So satisfying.
Still, it’s a sad day. Stephen Sondheim died. His death is a huge loss for the theatre community, as well as the world. He changed theatre forever. He’s also an extremely close friend of several of my dearest friends, including an actress he worked with often and championed mightily, and my heart hurts for them. For all of us.
So, remembering him tonight. Of course he’ll live on through his work. He’ll be remembered. And that’s beautiful.
What an important reminder not to die with your song trapped inside you.
