We had our first official rehearsal last night and it went so well! I’m so thrilled with the actors we have and the whole team. I think our assistant director might be the best that ever existed- she’s amazing. I’m so excited to put this show up!
My problem is it takes me forever to come down when I’m so jazzed. Even though I was exhausted, it was hard to convince myself that sleep was a good idea. Even though I had a super early morning and a long day. Even though I knew I needed sleep badly.
It’s hard! A night owl doesn’t change her spots! (Or something.)
Thank goodness for meditation. It really does help calm and center me for bedtime.
I was just discussing with my bestie this morning how much has changed since I started meditating daily. It’s so powerful, and so comforting to know it’s a tool I have at my disposal any time I need it. What a time we live in!
Ok back to work- busy day! Lots of work and a training and an interview for a really fun gig and a workshop about video game casting! Too fun.
Trying to stick with my daily routine but it’s been challenging when the days are busy. I at least try to make the bed, stretch a bit, and drink a hot lemon water in the morning. It’s been nice, and helpful not to rush through the first hours of the day when possible!
I’ll keep at it.
